No music degree required. No “serious musician” vibes. 

Just curiosity, a ukulele, and a willingness to play. 

We use the ukulele because it’s the friendliest little instrument on the planet. You can learn a few chords in minutes and suddenly — boom — you’re writing songs. It sneaks past your inner critic and invites your creativity out to play. At Uke Camp, songwriting isn’t about being impressive. It’s about being expressive. It’s about shaking loose the creative cobwebs, finding your voice again, and remembering how good it feels to make something from nothing. 

For three days, we gather online for 45 minutes per day to: 

• write songs with prompts and guidelines from Camp Counselor & creativity cheerleader Caroline Scruggs 
  
• get inspiration & break through blocks from Caroline's creative pep talks
  
• set timers for an hour and write our songs
  
• upload (if you're brave enough) and cheer each other on 
• and build a warm, supportive community where everyone belongs 
  

Whether you’ve never written a song in your life or you’ve got notebooks full of half-finished lyrics, you’re welcome here.
